Enjoy the crisp texture and deliciously balanced flavor of Jonagold apples grown in Azure Husbandry’s own orchards. A cross between Jonathan and Golden Delicious apples, Jonagolds are known for their juicy flesh and wonderful combination of sweetness with just the right touch of tartness.

These beautiful apples are delicious eaten fresh and are also a versatile choice for the kitchen. Slice them into salads, pair them with cheese, add them to oatmeal, or use them in pies, crisps, cobblers, breads, muffins, and other baked favorites. Their naturally sweet-tart flavor also makes them an excellent choice for applesauce, apple butter, juicing, and other preserves.

These Jonagold apples are grown on Azure Husbandry orchard land that is transitioning to certified organic production. While they cannot yet be sold as certified organic, choosing transitional fruit helps support the process of bringing farmland into organic production.

As a fresh orchard-grown product, apples may naturally vary in size, shape, color, and appearance. These differences are part of the character of fruit grown and harvested with the seasons.
