Is it possible to enjoy a “guilty pleasure” without any guilt? That’s what the rich, creamy frozen desserts from Coconut Bliss represent – decadence without the downside.
The secret is coconut milk. Back in 2003, Luna and Larry Kaplowitz were looking for a tasty, healthier alternative to ice cream. None of the soy or rice-based products at the time satisfied their craving, so they bought an old, hand-cranked ice cream maker and started experimenting with various recipes with coconut milk and agave syrup. The results were simply blissful: a vegan, soy-free and gluten-free dessert with flavors to die for.
Coconut Bliss jumped off the local store shelves and is now a top-selling brand in health food stores across the country. It’s a non-dairy ice cream substitute that’s ridiculously delicious.
There is a tiny amount of guar gum (less than .35%), added to the coconut milk to help maintain Coconut Bliss’s creamy texture. While this is the only ingredient in Coconut Bliss that you may not find in your kitchen, it is a natural and nutritious fiber-rich food that is made from the ground seeds of the Indian guar plant (also commonly called “cluster beans”).
*Strict allergen control processes are applied to every Coconut Bliss production. We ensure successful allergen control by testing for dairy, soy, egg, gluten, peanuts, and tree nuts.
