These #2 grade yellow nectarines are grown with care in Azure Husbandry’s own orchards on land transitioning to certified organic production. They offer the same delicious, classic nectarine flavor, but may have more noticeable cosmetic imperfections, irregular shapes, varying sizes, or surface blemishes that keep them from meeting our standard for first-grade fruit.
While they may not look picture-perfect, these nectarines are a wonderful choice when flavor and value matter more than appearance. Enjoy them fresh, or put them to delicious use in smoothies, cobblers, crisps, sauces, preserves, jams, baking, or canning.
These nectarines are grown on orchard ground that is in transition to certified organic production. While they cannot yet be sold as certified organic, choosing transitional produce helps support the journey of bringing more farmland into organic production.
#2 fruit is also a great way to make the most of the harvest. By finding a home for delicious fruit that may simply be less cosmetically perfect, we can reduce food waste while offering an economical option for families who want quality, orchard-grown produce.
