Grown in Azure Husbandry’s own orchards, these Gala apples are produced on land that is transitioning to certified organic production. During this transition period, the orchards are managed using organic practices while completing the required transition period before the fruit can be sold as certified organic.
Gala apples are known for their firm, crisp texture and pleasantly mild sweetness. Their beautiful skin ranges from pale golden yellow to red-striped and blushed, with individual apples naturally varying in color and appearance. Fruit typically ranges from small to medium in size.
With their approachable sweetness and satisfying crunch, Gala apples are an excellent choice for fresh eating. Slice them for lunches and snacks, add them to salads, pair them with cheese or nut butter, or use them in your favorite apple recipes.
