This heirloom Delicata squash has a natural and beautiful coloration of light yellow highlighted with dark green stripes. This cylindrical-shaped squash has a sweet, creamy-textured flesh. The skin is edible, too! We cut these little “Honey Boats” in half, take the seeds out, and bag them up, ready for you to put in a baking dish for that special meal. Just bake at 325-350 degrees for approx. 40 minutes and enjoy the wonderful flavor.
This squash was grown by Azure Husbandry on the farm here in Dufur, Ore. We package these 2-3 lb. pieces fresh for your order. They easily keep in the fridge for up to two weeks.
