Jonagold apples combine the tart flavor of a Jonathan Apple with the sweet flavor of the Golden Delicious — uniquely tangy-sweet. Jonagold and Fuji apples (below) were chosen by experts as the two most preferred dessert apples in the world. Large sweet fruit with a thin skin.
An excellent dessert variety, it has a sprightly, juicy flavor like Jonathon and a sweetness and aroma similar to that of Golden Delicious. Excellent for both eating fresh and for cooking.
