65-75 days. Heirloom. A favorite for pesto with its droopy, savoyed, fragrant 3-4" leaves. Slow to bolt. Spicy flowers are edible too. **Each 4” pot contains 2 to 4 Sweet Basil starts.
Please note that Basil is a tender plant. For growing success, order when your soil is warmed up very well with no chance of frost. It is imperative that they are taken out of the shipping box and planted immediately! – Sarah
Ellie’s Eden starts are guaranteed to arrive to our customers in good, live condition. Upon arrival, if there is any damage to the plants due to freezing on the truck, or stems of plants broken in transit, please notify customer service within 24 hours of delivery for credit.
Ellie’s Eden does not credit plants that die after being placed in the ground.
Please note that these plants have been on a truck and in a dark box before reaching you, so we encourage you to open the boxes and harden the plants off before placing in the garden. (Let them get some weather slowly before putting them out in the elements.)
ATTN. Customers ordering on the MORO Will Call drop. Because plants must travel from a separate location, all starts ordered for pickup at the warehouse location in Moro will not be available until 24 hours later than the posted time of pickup. Thank you for understanding. If you have questions email starts@azurefarm.com.
