Common dishwasher detergents release phosphates into our water bodies, causing massive algae blooms to grow. When these blooms decay, they produce toxins and deplete oxygen – creating “dead zones” where aquatic creatures cannot survive.
Nellie’s Dishwasher Detergent Cube Tin is a convenient, space-saving tin filled with pre-measured dishwasher detergent cubes that are phosphate-free, toxin-free, microplastics-free and highly effective on grease and grime.
Nellie’s dish cubes contain extra enzymes and require no pre-rinse or rinse aid. These enzymes break down tough food residues – like proteins, starches, and fats – and turn them into smaller, water-soluble pieces that are easily washed away by surfactants.
Why you’ll love this:

About Nellie's:
Going “green” is all the rage these days and with good reason! But “Nellie,” founder James Roberts' mother, was “green” before anyone even thought to use that term. Inspired by her values, James developed his cleaning products exactly how she would have – toxin and phosphate free and highly effective. All of Nellie’s kitchen, bathroom, and laundry cleaners and cleaning tools are eco-friendly, and gentle on skin, septic tanks, and appliances. Nellie would be proud of James, don’t ya think?
