Scratch and Peck’s Goat Feed is a whole grain mash that is Non-GMO Project Verified and USDA Organic. We use a blend of whole food ingredients from Certified Organic farms in the United States and Canada. Our Goat Feed is formulated as a supplement to a forage diet for your goats through all stages of life.
High-quality protein and carbohydrates help support immune function, digestive health, and nutrient absorption for long-term wellness. Supplemental copper, an essential trace mineral required for digestion, reproduction, and parasite resistance, helps ensure proper bone growth, coat and hoof health, and a strong immune system. Note: Copper is highly toxic to sheep – if you are raising goats and sheep together, prevent sheep from accessing the copper-rich goat feed.
Scratch and Peck Feed orders are sent to Azure Standard within 1 week of manufacturing. The paper packaging has no plastic lining and is made with biodegradable ink so the bags can be recycled or composted.
Feeding Information:
Feed to goats as a supplement to a quality forage diet that is at least 1.5% of the animal's weight. Recommended: Kids – free choice hay plus 1/2 pound of grain feed per day per head. Lactating does – free choice hay plus 1/2 to 1 pound per day per head. Bucks -1-2 pounds per day per head during breeding season. Always provide clean, fresh water.
