Scratch and Peck’s Starter Mash with 20.5% protein is a whole grain feed that is Non-GMO Project Verified and USDA Organic. We use a blend of whole food ingredients from Certified Organic farms in the United States and Canada. Our starter feeds are designed to be the healthiest and most natural products available for your chicks and ducklings. This complete starter ration contains optimum levels of protein to grow strong muscles, healthy bones, and glossy feathers.
Our starter mash is easy to serve dry, moist, or fermented. Fermenting the whole grain mash supports probiotic benefits and improves nutrient availability.
High-quality protein and carbohydrates help support immune function, digestive health, and nutrient absorption for long-term flock wellness. Essential oils offer antioxidant benefits, sustainably sourced fish meal provides amino acids that complement the grain proteins, and mineral-rich kelp meal supports overall well-being. With added niacin for duck bone and nervous system health, this feed is an excellent choice for mixed flocks of chicks and ducklings.
Scratch and Peck Feed orders are sent to Azure Standard within 1 week of manufacturing. The paper packaging has no plastic lining and is made with biodegradable ink so the bags can be recycled or composted.

The beneficial yeasts, probiotics, and bacteria contained in fermented feed promote intestinal and immune system health. Always provide clean, fresh water.
