Enjoy the sweet, juicy flavor of organic Bartlett pears grown in Azure Husbandry’s own orchards. Depending on the harvest, your order may include red or green Bartlett pears, both known for their tender texture, fragrant aroma, and classic pear sweetness as they ripen.

These are #2 grade pears, which means they may have cosmetic blemishes, irregular shapes, varying sizes, surface marks, or other natural imperfections. While they may not look picture-perfect, they still offer delicious Bartlett pear flavor and are a great value for fresh eating, cooking, baking, and preserving.

Enjoy them fresh when ripe, slice into oatmeal or salads, or use them for pear sauce, pear butter, pies, crisps, breads, muffins, smoothies, jams, preserves, canning, or drying. Their #2 grade also makes them an excellent choice when appearance is less important than flavor.

Bartlett pears are often harvested while still firm and will continue to ripen after harvest. Allow them to ripen at room temperature until the neck of the pear gives slightly to gentle pressure, then refrigerate to help maintain quality.

Choosing #2 fruit also helps make greater use of the orchard harvest by giving naturally imperfect fruit a delicious purpose.
