Concorde Pears are a newer pear variety and they are a cross between the Conference and Comice varieties. They are a green pear with crisp dense flesh and have a long slender neck with a sweet juicy vanilla like flavor as the pear ripens. Concorde Pears are a great multip-purpose and dessert quality pear.
