Did you know that every part of the coconut has a use? Coconut “meat” can be dried and shredded or flaked, and coconut water contains electrolytes and compounds which may act as antioxidants. Coconut milk, made by mixing water and grated coconut meat, makes a creamy and delicious dairy alternative, and coconut oil is great for everything from baking to skincare. Even the shell is useful for making activated charcoal!
Azure Market Organics shredded coconut is firm and leathery, with a rich, mildly sweet flavor. It’s packed with health benefits including healthy fats, protein, fiber, and minerals like iron, manganese, copper, magnesium, and selenium—not to mention plenty of antioxidants!
You can use our organic shredded coconut in so many ways! It adds great flavor and texture to baked goods like cookies, and you can sprinkle it on yogurt, ice cream, oatmeal, and cereal, or add it to homemade granola, trail mix, or energy bars. It’s an awesome choice for cake decorations, too!
